StashFirst keeps track of the breast milk you’ve stored and shows which bag to use next: oldest first, with thawed milk at the top.

How do I add several bags at once?
Tap Add milk, enter the amount in one bag, and set Bags to how many identical bags you filled. Next time, tap Same as last time and then Save.
How are use-by dates worked out?
From the pumped date and where the bag is kept. The defaults are based on CDC storage guidance for healthy full-term babies: 4 days in the fridge and 6 months in the freezer. The CDC says up to 12 months in a freezer is acceptable, which StashFirst uses for a deep freezer. You can change them in More under Use within. Your baby’s care team may advise differently, especially for premature or ill babies.
What happens when I move a bag to the fridge?
A bag moved from a freezer to the fridge is marked thawed, with a use-by date one day later, and thawed bags come first in Use next. A thawed bag can’t be moved back to a freezer, because thawed milk shouldn’t be refrozen.
I used a bag by mistake
Tap Undo in the message that appears for a few seconds. After that, a used bag can’t be put back in your stash. To fix the amount or date of a bag that’s still in your stash, tap the bag, then Edit. Delete removes a bag you entered by mistake.
I have a new iPhone
Your stash is kept only on your iPhone, and in your iPhone’s backups if you make them. There is no account and no cloud sync. To move it yourself, open More, tap Export backup, and save the file to Files or send it to yourself. On the new iPhone, open StashFirst, open More, tap Import backup, and choose the file. This replaces any bags and places already there. The backup holds your bags and places only, so set your settings, such as units, daily intake, and reminders, again.
How do I get StashFirst Pro back?
StashFirst Pro is one purchase, not a subscription. On a new iPhone or after reinstalling, open More and tap Restore purchases, signed in with the same Apple Account you bought it with.
My reminders don’t arrive
Use-by reminders are part of StashFirst Pro. Check that Use-by reminders is on in More, and that notifications are allowed for StashFirst in the iPhone Settings app. Reminders arrive at 9:00 on days when bags reach their use-by date soon.
How do I delete my data?
Open More and tap Delete all data. That removes every bag, custom place, and setting from your iPhone. Purchases are tied to your Apple Account and aren’t deleted. Deleting the app also deletes its data.
Is StashFirst medical or feeding advice?
No. StashFirst is an organizer and doesn’t give medical or feeding advice. Ask your baby’s care team about storage for premature or ill babies.
