Support
Pushback support.
Updated September 26, 2026
Pushback locks the apps you choose. Do push-ups in front of your iPhone’s camera and they open for a while, then lock again on their own.

How do I turn the locks off?
Open Pushback, go to Settings, and turn off Lock my apps. All your apps open right away, and any time you’ve earned ends. If your subscription has ended, Pushback offers Remove my locks instead, with no subscription needed.
My push-ups aren’t being counted
Lean your iPhone on a wall with the screen toward you, then step back until your shoulders and hands are in view. Get into a high plank and hold still for a moment, and keep your hands on the floor. Pushback shows what to change on screen, and says it out loud unless you muted the voice coach with the speaker button: Go lower means go further down, Slow down means you’re going too fast, and Too slow means one push-up took too long, so do that one again; your count is kept. If Pushback says camera access is off, allow it in the iPhone Settings app under Pushback.
How do I cancel my subscription?
In Pushback’s Settings, tap Manage or cancel subscription. You can also do it in the iPhone Settings app: tap your name, then Subscriptions. A subscription renews automatically unless you cancel it at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Deleting the app doesn’t cancel it.
I have a new iPhone, or I reinstalled Pushback
After a reinstall, Pushback walks you through setup again: allow Screen Time access and choose your apps. If the subscription screen then appears, tap Restore purchases. Use the same Apple Account you subscribed with. On a new iPhone set up from a backup, if Pushback shows the subscription screen, tap Restore purchases. Then tap Turn on locks, allow Screen Time access, and choose your apps if Pushback asks. To check which apps are locked, open Settings and tap Change apps.
An app didn’t lock again when my time was up
Open Pushback once. It checks the locks every time it opens. If it keeps happening, let us know.
I want to delete Pushback
First turn off Lock my apps in Pushback’s Settings, or tap Remove my locks if your subscription has ended. Then delete the app. If you have a subscription, cancel it too: deleting the app doesn’t cancel it.
Is Pushback medical or fitness advice?
No. Pushback is a self-control tool, not medical or fitness advice. Only do push-ups if it is safe for you.
